  • Driving to Shea

Living in Westchester, I don't have a great alternative to get to Shea. Taking the Metro north to GCT and the number 7 out to Flushing is way too long, so I really need to drive

I'm going Tuesday, and dreading the parking situation. Any thoughts on if there is a convienent place to mark one or two stops away on the 7, or one or two stops away on the LIRR?

I usually park somewhere around 111th Street, south of Roosevelt Ave (near the old World's Fair rockets), and walk to the stadium from there. Much easier (and cheaper) than parking at the stadium. It's one subway stop away if ya don't feel like walking.

    Have fun!
    Put it in the books.
