From the "Old Met Fan", my favorite memory is Cleaon Jones going down on 1 knee as he caught the final out in the '69 series. That was a Mets Magical Moment..

On a sad note, Randy Tate has passed away. He was only on the team for one season, but I saw him pitch at the ballpark more than once. I think he might still hold the record for most at bats without a hit. He went 0-41. After being in a very good starting rotation as a rookie, he never pitched in the Majors again.

Anyone else remember him?
