PEARCY – Larry M. Chase, 66, of Pearcy, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2012. He was born Feb. 6, 1946, in Hot Springs, to William and Pauline Chase. Loving survivors include his parents, his wife of 47 years, Linda Chase, his only son, Jeff Chase, his only daughter, Leah Chase, four grandchildren: Jesse Chase, Jake Chase, Emma Reilly and Anna Reilly; his only sister Nancy (John) Hall, one niece Melissa (Benji) White and many, many friends.
Larry was a member of Hot Springs Baptist Church and the George Robinson’s and Danny Myatt’s Men’s Sunday School Class. He co-owned Chase Auto Sales and Salvage with his father, William Chase, for 26 years. Then he worked as a Major League baseball scout for the New York Mets for 20 years and for the Baltimore Orioles the past two years.
