Yeah, I was hoping it'd be Santana or Dickey who'd get it, of the Mets pitchers here now...Niese wouldn't have been, bad, either...

But Santana is PERFECT--the ace of the staff on a franchise that's had some great pitchers!

They put the David Freese and Jeter's 3,000th hit on DVD...this HAS to get a DVD release, I want to see it again and again!

I got to watch it, the 5th inning on...Happy Days, a game I got to see of the Mets, here in California, one I ACTUALLY GOT TO SEE (even if only in part) was a NO-HITTER!

milladrive, if it doesn't get a DVD...well, I'll be pissed, but TELL ME you have this recorded! :O

PLEASE! Gotta have THIS ONE in my collection!
You can watch it without announcers as a "condensed game" in the MLB Media Center in a few hours.

The Mets have the best, smartest fans in baseball.

Don't have MLB.TV...besides, I'd want a lasting copy on DVD.

Ah well, if Jeter's 3,000th got a "Baseball's Greatest Games" DVD, and David Freese's Game 6 winner got one, this should...

History-making no-hitter by a New York team, their first in 50+ years and 8,000 plus games...

There'd be a market for such a DVD, wouldn't you think?

Watch the random fan getting taken down by security when he tries to get in on the celebration. He's wearing the Carter shirt.

He makes his first appearance at 21 seconds or so.

Hey, the Cardinals got a break with Beltran NOT swinging in 2006...

We got a break with him swinging and hitting one FOUL tonight! (It's in the books, it was a FOUL...chalk? What chalk?)

Seattle's center fielder got hit in his "beak" when his missed Konerko's fly ball

But yes The Mets finally get a break. My dad spoke to the baseball gods for this gem.

Unfortunately, I didn't record it. However, they'll be replaying it on SNY tomorrow at noon and then again at 7pm. I'll try to grab it and send you one. If by chance I don't get it, though, my gut says it'll be added to the 12-disc DVD 50th anniversary box scheduled for release in September.
                              Put it in the books.

It wasn't perfect or even pretty (though not to AJ Burnett or Joe Cowley levels of ugliness), but it's our first no-hitter.

In lots of other places around the web, it's depressing to see the hatred that this engenders. Let the Cards put Adrian Johnson alongside Don Denkinger. We got our no-hitter.
