  • Congratulations for Wright for becoming the all-time Mets hits leader

with 2 hits, last night, Wright tied Kranepool with 1,418 career hits.

Wright is already the francdhise leader in runs scored, total bases, doubles, RBI and walks.

Lets hope he stays around long enough to catch Strawberry in homeruns and continues to increase those other marks - it is sad that the franchise record for career hits is only 1418. The only franchises with a lower career mark are the Diamondbacks and Marlins

As he set the hits mark last night, with Ed's blessing, congratulations are indeed in order.

And, indeed, may he double those numbers while in a Mets uniform. :cap:
    Put it in the books.

That'd be a cause for celebration...which we certainly need these days...lol.

Hats off to David, great accomplishment, I REALLY hope he sticks around!
