  • Ralph KinerTurns 90.

I'm 2 weeks late, but belated birthday wishes to original Mets announcer, Ralph Kiner, who turned 90 on Oct. 27. He still announced some home games this past season, his 51st season with the New York Mets. Does anyone know if Kiner still plans to continue as a part-time announcer for the Mets in 2013?

Probably. He's still on the Mets website:

Ralph is an institution here. I think his contract is open-ended; he'll continue to announce as long as he wants. He represents the great, classic history of the team and was here from the beginning.
