  • a little game i like to play...

While watching the Phillies this year my buddies and i have started a game that goes like this: We say a Phillie and we all say what we would trade him for. example: I would trade Doug Glanville for a pack of number 2 pencils. It gets really fun and it's a good way to let your frustrations out, which is especially needed this year with this team. Pretty much the only ones we dont offer in trades are Burrell and Rolen. So while watching the frustrating phillies you can play this game and it'll make the loss alot easier to swallow.

So far in this game what has been the least valuable item mentioned in a trade for which ballplayer?

Probably a stick of gum for Doug Glanville. At this point im not sure ed wade wouldn't jump at that trade. We all rag on dougy cause we are all so anxious to see the next Bo Jackson(Marlon Byrd) in centerfield

Well, unfortunately with the threat of a strike looming, it probably isn't going to happen this season.

Yeah, i know. But they called Myers up today so he'll hold us over for a while. Myers vs. Prior on wednesday, that'll be one heck of a game as long as the friendly confines are "friendly". Then Myers gets to come home and face Bonds. Talk about a tough first couple of starts.

Trade rejected. A sack of dirt can be used to fix up the infield. Reitsma, at this point, has no use .
Every passing hour brings the Solar System forty-three thousand miles closer to Globular Cluster M13 in Hercules -- and still there are some misfits who insist that there is no such thing as progress.

I would gladly offer Pat Burrell in exchange for a good wash for my car....or to help the Phillies...a thirdbase coach...what's the story on that by the way? Anyone they're talking of being interested in? Havent heard anything so far.

They signed a dude named Smith. Looks pretty good.

Trade Burrell to the Cowboys for some cheerleaders. Burrell would make a great QB.

We have Tony Romo, even better.

Well certainly you could use him somewhere. Running back , linebacker, defensive end, etc. And don't forget his veteran leadership skills. TO needs a mentor. The possibilities are endless.
