No matter how good you are, you're going to lose one-third of your games. No matter how bad you are you're going to win one-third of your games. It's the other third that makes the difference. ~Tommy LasordaTags: None

I actually find this somewhat interesting. How many other clubs have a scouting interest in Austrailia? Is there a vast, untapped pool of talent in the land down under, which already brought us such greats as....Dave Nilsson?I AM ROSTERDAMUS!!!

There are many Aussies playing in USA and most teams would have scouts here. Our national coach is the scout for the Red Sox! Three years ago a friend from Colorado brought her 13 year old son out here to play in an international under 14 competition, and the organiser, a local manager, also doubles as the Cubs scout! The MLB is behind a baseball academy on the Gold Coast in Queensland which produces many good quality Aussie prospects who find their way to USA to seek fame and fortune. Check out the Australian Baseball federation website
The Home of Baseball in Australia. Baseball.com.au is the media and content division of Baseball Australia (BA), the governing body for all levels of baseball, T-Ball and Little League across the country.
and/or pop over to the International Baseball forum to find out more!Last edited by DownUnderDodger; 02-11-2006, 05:30 AM."A hot dog at the ballgame beats roast beef at the Ritz." ~Humphrey Bogart
