I actually find this somewhat interesting. How many other clubs have a scouting interest in Austrailia? Is there a vast, untapped pool of talent in the land down under, which already brought us such greats as....Dave Nilsson?I AM ROSTERDAMUS!!! -

There are many Aussies playing in USA and most teams would have scouts here. Our national coach is the scout for the Red Sox! Three years ago a friend from Colorado brought her 13 year old son out here to play in an international under 14 competition, and the organiser, a local manager, also doubles as the Cubs scout! The MLB is behind a baseball academy on the Gold Coast in Queensland which produces many good quality Aussie prospects who find their way to USA to seek fame and fortune.
