    February 5: General Manager - Lee Thomas - Born in 1936 - Age 84 - Phillies general manage 1988 - 1997 (9 1/2 seasons) - Built 1996 NL championship Phillies team. (MLB Career: Outfielder 1961-1968 was 1962 American League all-star with the Los Angeles Angels. Hit at least 20 home runs four times and had more than 100 RBI once - 1962 Angels - 104 RBI.
    February 8: First baseman, Costen Shockley. 1964 Phillies - Born in 1942 - Age 78.
    February 9: Pitcher, Jim Nash - 1972 Phillies - born in 1945 - Age 75. Had 7 Year MLB career 1966-1972, with a 68-64 final win-loss record. he had two 13 win seasons and two 12 win seasons. Went 12-1 as a rookie for the Kansas City Athletics.
    February 14: Pitcher Bob Terlecki - 1972 Phillies - 9 games - his only experience in the major leagues - Born in 1945 - Age 75.
    February 17: Pitcher, Roger Craig - 1966 Phillies - concluded a 12 year MLB career with the '66 Phillies. Longtime Dodgers & Met - was a NY Met in 1962 that franchise's inaugural year. Was born in 1930 - Age 90. - Will be joining 13 other living Phillies nonegenarians this year in the living Phillies Age 90 and above Club.
    February 21 - Outfielder, Ted Savage - 1962 Phillies. was born in 1936 - Age 84.
    February 25 - Outfielder/First Baseman/ Third baseman, danny Cater - 1964 Phillies - The Phillies foolishly traded away the versatile Cater after his rookie season. He became a solid everyday player during his 12 year career (1964-1975) where he hit .276 lifetime for the Phillies, White Sox, Yankees and Red Sox. Career Best seaon was 1970 when he hit .301 for the Yankees. Was born in 1940 - Age 80.
