I am going to add Phillies pinch hitter specialist Greg Gross to the list of 100 greatest Phillies.
He holds the Phillies record for most pinch hits with 117.
He was with the Phillies for nearly 10 seasons.
I would put him at Seattle Pilots all time on the list
    Fascinating career.

Hit 5 of his 7 HRs in one at season.

Hit one HR every 505.3 ABs.

Is it possible that Mike Goliat, the toughest member of the Whiz Kids to name, the second baseman who owned Don Newcombe, is not on this list?

You have to put 1983 NL Cy Young winner John Denny on the list.
I would add pitchers Don Carman and Kevin Gross and Dick Ruthven
    to the list.

I'll put him on the list for consideration.

No need to worry about overcrowding. The idea is to come up with a top 100 list, so I want as many nominations as possible to ensure that no one is forgotten.

Not to overcrowd your list when you are thinking of culling, but does Tuck Turner the 4th .400 outfielder of their 1890 something team get a nod?

You know, not really,.... I think he's one of the obvious cuts.

49 more nominees, bringing the list up to 131. I'd like suggestions if there's anyone people feel should be on the big list up top, and then suggestions on which 30+ don't make the final cut.

    82. Jack Baldschun
    83. Dick Bartell
    84. Ricky Botallico
    85. Kitty Bransfield
    86. Pat Burrell

    88. Dan Casey
    89. Dave Cash
    90. Larry Christenson
    91. Lave Cross
    92. Clay Dalrymple
    93. Spud Davis
    94. John Denny
    95. Red Dooin
    96. Mickey Doolan
    97. Bill Duggleby
    98. Jim Eisenreich
    99. Dick Farrell
    100. Barney Friberg
    101. Gene Garber
    102. Doug Glanville
    103. Kid Gleason
    104. Bill Hallman

Less time with the Phils for Unser compared to Gross, but he's a good candidate, I'll put him on there for the 100+ but we'll see if he can make the final cut.

Also, I'm going to add the additional names to the additional 35 at the top of the thread so we have everyone listed in one place.
