Bucs sign Capps for 2 years

Hello? Any Pirate fans left? If anyone still cares, the Pirates have signed closer Matt Capps to a 2 year, $2.85 million dollar deal that will take him out of his first year of arbitration. Any worries that Capps may become the next Rich Loiselle?

Although their stats do look similar, Capps has only played for a few years, while rich loiselle pitched for 6.

With youth comes inexperience, and with inexperience comes learning opportunity. If you give Capps some time to get his feet wet a little while longer, he could become a stellar reliever/closer.

(and also pray that Capps doesn't have a 11.50 Era season like Loiselle! )
