Besides the '96 season this guy spent his entire career in Pittsburgh. I remembered him back in '93, but didn't know until the early 00's that he still played in Pittsburgh. Was he a fan favorite of the team?

he played a year for the Royals. The Pirates resigned him for 6million a year during the 97 season. His knees were shot, He stunk it up although he had a couple twenty some hr years. His average was always low and he was horrible defesively, struck out alot. Left in 03 twins i think signed him for a little while. He wasnt the worst but I remember after he signed that contract everyone wanted to kill Bonifay.
