I'm going to a Pirates game April 7th and I know how to get to and am planning on going to the Forbes Field location. Maybe Exposition Park too. Is there any other baseball related stuff to do in Pittsburgh I may not know about?

Baseball History in Pittsburgh
"No matter how great you were once upon a time — the years go by, and men forget,” - W. A. Phelon in Baseball Magazine in 1915. “Ross Barnes, forty years ago, was as great as Cobb or Wagner ever dared to be. Had scores been kept then as now, he would have seemed incomparably marvelous.”Tags: None

If you have time, check out the Western PA Sports History museum in the Strip District (part of the John Heinz history center) There's a lot of history about the Bucs and western PA baseball there. The Exposition Park site is actually one of the parking lots to PNC Park. the home plate of exposition park is painted in the parking lot, but since there's a chance that lot may become another office building in the near future, there is no exposition park marker, just a painted home plate, and bases. Enjoy your visit here.LETS GO BUCS!!
