Yiou need another catcher and you have to have Hennessey in place of Messenger IMO.

ok, who are you, and what have you done with ken?
no way ken's keeping vinnie chulk on the 25.
        no way.
(unless you think that the chewin' tobacco thing has made that big of a difference.)

LOL, I just figured it was a done deal that they'd be keeping the gas can Chulk, not so with Messenger.

Now if you are saying If I were Bochy, now that's a different story! I'd rather have me pitch than Chulk! And I threw my arm out in Little League in 1968!

No, but you really need three catchers

i like misch, with his cap's flat-ironed bill.
only, threets is outta options, and i expect the giants to look long and hard at him before making a move.

The lineup will now probably be:

                      1-Roberts
                      2-Durham
                      3-Winn
                      4-Molina
                      5-Rowand
                      6-Aurilia
                      7-Ortmeier
                      8-Frandsen

when I think (and HOPE) it would be...

                      1-Davis
                      2-Frandsen
                      3-Rowand
                      4-JOE CREDE
                      5-Ortmeier
                      6-Durham
                      7-Winn
                      8-Molina

Why do the Giants need Joe Crede? He is not a good ballplayer. :dismay:

Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.-Crash Davis

                            God no to Joe Crede.

Sure, he'd be a good fit over out current options at 3B, but not good enough to trade away Lowry (which it would probably cost us). We need some pop in the middle of the lineup, but trading away some of your young stud pitching for a guy who's only had one good season in the majors and is coming off of knee surgery doesn't sound too appealing to me.
