Yeah, we missed a few chances (did ya have to get thrown out at 3rd, Randy?), but the home plate ump's balk call was horrible. Video CLEARLY showed him raising his hands and his "TIME" call was very audible, but he went and overruled himself two seconds later. Just terrible. Was it a make-up for yesterday's balk against the Rockies?

When Molina called "time" by raising his right hand up, Lincecum stopped his windup. The umpire didn't seem to grant Molina "time". Since he didn't grant him "his wish", Tim stopped, and hence the balk call. Weird, but not too sure what the skipper's argument could have been. :noidea

^^
the gripe was that the ump called "time" while raising his hands then said, "that's a balk."
when discussing it with manager boche, plate ump gary darling did not admit to calling "time." he just held to the fact that lincecum stopped his motion "before time was called"."you don't have to burn books to destroy a culture. just get people to stop reading them." -ray bradbury
