what did'ja think of the new road greys that the big men busted out in arizona?

the uni features black piping that travels on either side of the buttons in front and curves around the yoke in back, with the "A" of "FRANCISCO" between the black piping.

also, the giants'll sport an alternate road jersey this season, the only club in the bigs this season to do so. the familiar interlocking "SF" will be emblazoned on theupper left chest.

these unis oughtta look familiar to who have been rootin' for the giants for 30+ seasons.

I'd like to see photos of the two new road uniforms, if anyone has them available.

Don't mind the piping on the SF logo jersey, would have left it off the std road jersey

I've seen them both, and I guess I'm too set in my ways- I liked the previous road jersey because it was a throwback to the original ones worn in the Mays-Cepeda-McCovey- Marichal era. The piping down the front of the one with "San Francisco" on it looks a little too busy and looked a little like the New York Giants road jerseys before they were "streamlined" back in 1950. As for the ones with the interlocking "SF" logo on them, I really didn't care for them the first time out and absence hasn't made the heart grow fonder. I guess that's why difference of opinion makes for horse racing, as someone once said.
