  • Pablo Sandoval may be charged with sexual assault

This is a serious charge. I hope it's not true.

The Santa Cruz County sheriff's office said Monday it hopes to complete the bulk of an investigation into sexual assault allegations involving San Francisco Giants slugger Pablo Sandoval by the end of this week, then determine whether to seek charges.

It's curious that the Giants are letting him go on like nothing happened. Wonder why?

BTW, Pablo is already on thin ice with the team, not only because he was out partying at 4:00am, but because he is getting back to being a big, fat, tub of goo again. This guy has a ton of talent, but he may eat his way out of MLB if he's not careful.

I wonder is his weight really an issue? He was pounding the ball this season before the hand injury. He pounded the ball in 2011. In fact he's been pounding the ball since 2008 (other than 2010). It's starting to sound like Pablo has some immaturity issues. No one complains about Prince Fielder's weight. The difference is that Fielder plays almost every game. Fielder has played at least 157 games in every full season of his career. Today on KNBR they were saying would the Giants care if Pablo weighed 350 lbs and he still hit .330? Pablo has a choice. He needs to decide that he wants to be a great player for the long haul. I hope he gets it together. Maybe this incident in Santa Cruz is a wake up call for him.

Evidently Bochy read Pablo the riot act recently about his weight and work ethic, and Pablo supposedly agreed with what Boch said to him. This guy has the potential to be a great player, but boy, he will wreck his career if he doesn't start takiing this seriously.
