Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.-Crash Davis

Grant Brisbee chimes in on the Giants DH choices. Not pretty. I'd go with Hector Sanchez but apparently Bochy is going with Aubrey Huff. Ugh.

Still pretty bad compared to other "elite" RBs.

Hector Sanchez has been announced as G3 DH
          1. The more I learn, the more convinced I am that many players are over-rated due to inflated stats from offensive home parks (and eras)

I was worried that Bochy would start Huff as DH, even with him being 0-12 against Sanchez. Boch loves his vets, and Huff is clearly one of his guys, despite Huff having only 3 hits in his last 20 games and zero for the playoffs. Glad sanity prevailed

Crazy. The Giants go 56 years between World Series titles and now they are on the verge of winning their second title in three seasons? Who'd a thunk??
