Btw, my namesake, Hub Kittle, is in the front row, sixth from the left, right next to Whitey.Last edited by hubkittel; 02-01-2008, 05:00 PM.

The 1987 National League Champions. Not a great picture but this is my favorite Cardinals team. Right around the Fourth of July, they went on a nine game winning streak, taking four games in extra-innings. I think that was the best, most exciting stretch of Cardinal baseball I ever saw.Attached Files

The 1989 Cardinals. I was in college at the time, living in a house with four other guys. The house was divided between two Card fans, two Cub fans, and one agnostic. This game almost resulted in punches being thrown.Attached Files

The 1991 and 1994 Cardinals. These were dark times. Gussie died, Whitey quit, the team was never in contention, our best pitcher was Bob Tewksberry, and then there was the strike. Dark times indeed.
