2- It claims that Stanley's business relationship with Joe Garagiola was the fruit of a "psychic relationship" that began when the two were in the minor leagues in Springfield in 1941. Stan only spent the first half of the year in Springfield in 1941 and Garagiola, who was only 15 in 1941, did not get there until the second half of 1942. Stan was firmly in the big leagues by the end of 1941.
