This gives Jason Bergmann or Steve Watkins a job.
The Q: Can the Cubs hold a 6-5 lead with 2 outs and nobody on in the 9th?

    The A: No

    ***********My Rant on Bud Selig***********
Selig is like a stray pigeon. Pigeons are too self-absorbed to care about anyone else. They poo on people they don't like; they poo on people they don't even know. The only real difference between Selig and a pigeon is that Selig intends to bury our heritage, our traditions, and our culture,

I was just comparing the stats on both so far in camp, and both are really close right now. That could be a tight race between both for a bullpen job.

There's also Traber and Kevin Gryboski.

Man, this is bad. Ayala has been one of the best setup men in the game and a driving force for the Nats' great bullpen last year.

We may be kissing goodbye to the shutout 7th, 8th and 9th from last year with two of our mainstays (Carrasco and Ayala) gone. Carrasco's performance last year was fluky, but Ayala's really wasn't. He has proven to be a good reliever.

We still do have Cordero and Majewski though, so we still have a good combo in the late innings. But, beyond them there could be trouble.

Cordero and Majewski will play good only if you get them in a winning position cause if you lose a lot of games , Cordero won't play that many games .

We have Majewski for awhile, but if I was us, I'd get rid of him around the 2007 trade deadline. His K-BB ratio is shot up which makes him just an RFK creation that will pitch poor in our new stadium.

Even though this injury only helps my Mets, it is the exact reason why the WBC doesn't work...
