I know that JOHNNY LOGAN is still alive, as are LUIS OLMO and DON THOMPSON (both were BROOKLYN DODGERS).

You should check Baseball-Almanac, which lists total info on all players. May take a bit of time, but you'll have your answer.

          Art Johnson

I believe Art Johnson is still with us and should be on this list. He pitched
for the Braves/Bees from 1940-42. I have had the pleasure of meeting Art a
few times,he is a real gentleman with some great stories about his days with
the Braves. Art is 90 years old.

You might like to know that Alvin Dark was honored at the University of Louisiana homecoming game last year for his football exploits. He played primarily for LSU but was assigned to SLI (Southwestern Louisiana Institute, now UL) in conjunction to some military training plan during WWII. He is an immortal athelete in these parts. He is a native of Lake Charles, LA, and demonstrated what an intelligent, articulate man he still is during an interview by a local radio station. I think he lives in North Carolina now if I remembered correctly.

                        Bill Ramsey 1920-2008

Former Boston Brave player for one season Bill Ramsey died on January 4th.
His passing leaves only 38 surviving players of the Boston Braves.

William Thrace Ramsey (October 20, 1920 – January 4, 2008) was a Major League Baseball outfielder who played for the Boston Braves in 1945. He was born in Osceola, Arkansas. On November 1, 1944 he had been drafted by the Boston Braves from the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1944 rule V draft. He attended the University of Florida.

Ramsey is one of many ballplayers who only appeared in the major leagues during World War II. He made his major league debut on April 19, 1945 against the New York Giants at Braves Field. Besides his outfield duties he was often used as a pinch-hitter. In a total of 78 games he hit .292 (40-for-137) with 1 home run, 12 runs batted in, 16 runs scored, and a slugging percentage of .372. He died in Germantown, Tennessee in January 2008.

So with Tommy Holmes' passing are we down to 37 surviving players of the Boston Braves?

I guess with death of Tommy Holmes the only surviving Boston Braves players from the 1948 National League championship team are Alvin Dark and Clint Conaster.
