    The 1914 World Series was played by the BOSTON BRAVES and the PHILADELPHIA ATHLETICS.

            Great pics, but a minor technicallity....The 1914 Braves still played at the South End Grounds, so the Boston home games in the '14 series were played at Fenway Park.

            Braves Field opened in August of 1915. The Braves "lent" Braves Field to the Sox for the 1915 & 1916 World Series' but not 1918.
