I was noticing the other day how many washed up Dodgers the Tigers
picked up over the years.
Rockey Bridges
Roger Craig (good coach for 84 team)
Don Demeter (bad trade for Bunning)
Charlie Dressen (died on the job). He didn't think of the right
thing in 1951.
Chico Fernandez (who landed back with the Mets)
Clem Labine (14 games-0 and 3 in 1960)
Sandy Amoros (65 games -.149 avg)
Johnny Podres (3-1 and 3.84 and 1 save) not bad
Can you think of any others?
