  • Reflects the passing of Jean-Pierre Roy -- a loss I feel personally, since I had the privilege of speaking with him on the phone several times.
    He was a wonderful, entertaining man.

              • Brooklyn Dodger (also Chicago Cub and Cincinnati Red) outfieler, Bob Borkowski passed away this week at the age of 91. (MLB: 1950-1955, mostly with the Cincinnati Reds; 1955: Brooklyn Dodgers).
