O'malley giving the home plate from ebbets field, (signed by our players) to the mayor of LA, symbolically and literally giving them the Brooklyn Dodgers. How can any one think we'd ever get over it. battlin bake, the dodger dynamo

Every time I see a picture of the SLOB , especially with a cigar, I can't help but think of Lionel Barrymore as Mr Potter in "It's a Wonderful Life".
For the life of me, I have no idea why the politicians did not sue to keep the name DODGERS for the people of Brooklyn, like the Cleveland Browns did.
The only one who had the ----(a set ) to deal with the Slob back then was Rockefeller, and he did not get elected until 1958. He had the pull and the cash to keep them in Brooklyn. If only he had been elected one term sooner ! Rocky believed in huge capital projects to stimulate the economy, and was on record as believing in the Dodger dome.
Rocky had no use for that lackey Wagner.

OUR focus, at this time, should be in getting OUR NAME and OUR HISTORY returned to BROOKLYN, where they belongs....and where they should never have left. There just might be a way to do this. Some interesting idea has surfaced......so, stay tuned...
BTW, I just know this piece of useless information will really make the day of all loyal and true BROOKLYN DODGER FANS. I received an e-mail from the "west coast group" that come July 20th, a week before that horrible day in Cooperstown, that group will be given (or they bought, which is more likely the case), their very own star on that boulevard in Hollywood.

Back then we were not as litigious and legal minded a society as we are today. We weren't aware we could sue for something like a team name. Had we known, we would have done so, but back then with the pull the big O' had and with the media and legal system being more controlled and conservative we would have lost. Today, with the browns situation as a perfect example, we would have won. Just different times. battlin bake, the dodger dynamo.

Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhh!
Friends:
I never SAW that DISGUSTING photo before! What a heartless thing to do. If LA wanted a piece of Brooklyn we could have sent them the Pennsylvania Avenue dump. HELL is where they are. Too bad it's TOO GOOD for those @#%%!!!!!!
Here's a homeplate he can give away!

Friends:
Tonight I tripped across an article in the Orange County Register describing O'Money as a "Visionary," and saying how "his love for baseball fans set a new standard," etc.
HOW CAN THEY INSULT OUR INTELLIGENCE WITH SUCH DRIVEL? :disbelief::disbelief::disbelief:
My email to the author follows in it's entirety:
Dear Scott:
Are you out of your #@!^& mind? O’Malley “loved” baseball fans? As a Brooklynite, I say again--- #@!^& you!
Jeff
PS: Strange, but the lead-in article to the subject has been removed from the Register's website since this afternoon!
