Think I saw if on this site, but cannot find it now.
(cropped from team photo, pretty sure)
Not sure if it's just coincidence, but today would've been Newk's 94th birthday.

Only problem is, you didn't post the photo you want verified.

From May 17 through May 19, in Manhattan, there will be a historical presentation of many postcards featuring the Brooklyn Dodgers and their ballparks:

Wonderful photos, but they've been posted for years at BDM.

Didn't see this posted elsewhere. LIFE released some rare, never-seen photos from the 1955 World Series:

I am going to see if I can find a picture of the '55 Dodgers quilt that this article references. I bet it's a nice item:

I went to see the Montreal Royals play a doubleheader against Jersey City Reds in 1959 or 1960, did anyone else ever go to Jersey City to see a AAA game after our Dodgers left.

The excellent site for the Quebec chapter of SABR has just posted this batch of 20 baseball cards for the 1959 Montreal Royals. Several men played for Brooklyn in this group; the most familiar face is the first in the lot: Sandy AmorĂ³s. There's also a certain rotund Italian southpaw...
