I have a brown fedora (ala Indiana Jones) or this guy-> , and it needs a good cleaning and straightening out. Wonder if there are any shops in NYC that can help me out? I wear it in inclimate weather when I get dressed up, which ain't often! Still...

Those old hats would be worth a lot now.

I see kids on their skateboards wearing fedoras. Very out of place, and those hats are usually cheaply crafted. They obviously got them from some kiosk in a shopping mall.

Anyone ever hear of hipsters? They are sullying older generations with their choice of attire!

Wish my grandpa had his old lids. However, you can get nice quality hats on eBay if you know what you're doing. There's also a fedora specific discussion board that would be a much bigger help than I am to anyone who wants to start wearing hats.

Ebbets Field was like no other place I've ever been. It was tremendous!
