    Sexauer:

    Mr. Sexauer, a country boy who briefly tasted the big leagues with the Boys of Summer, died June 27, of cardiac arrest. He was 85 and had been living in University Village for seven years.

    Williams:

    Dick Williams, the hard-nosed Hall of Fame manager who achieved the rare feat of taking three different teams to the World Series, died on Thursday at his home in Las Vegas. He was 82.

    His death was reported by Major League Baseball on its Web site. The cause was believed to be a brain aneurysm.

    It feels bad to see two in two days...thanks for the update, Cowtipper.

    The thing that still sticks in my mind about Sexauer is the somewhat risqué joke about his last name: "Sexauer? We were lucky if we got a lunch break!"
