    Great Baseball Listening

    In 1950 New York Baseball fans had a treat for their ears. Brooklyn Dodger fans would turn on WMGM and listen to Red Barber, Connie Desmond and Vin Scully call the games. New York Giant fans would tune into WMCA and hear Russ Hodges and Ernie Harwell while New York Yankee fans would select WINS and listen to Mel Allen and Curt Gowdy. Yes those were the days my friends.
