    The members of the Brooklyn Dodgers pitching staff in the late 1940s through the mid-1950s is remarkable for it's longevity.
    Carl Erskine is due to turn 90 next week on Dec. 13.
    Don Newcombe turned 90 in June this year.
    Ralph Branca turned 90 in January, but passed away in November.
    Preacher Roe pitched for three Dodgers pennant winners and was with the team 1948 to 1954. He retired just before Brooklyn's Glory Year of 1955. He was in his mid-90s when he passed away a few years ago..
