    Expos Goodies

As odd as it might sound; call some of the sports shops in Burlington Vermont. They had an Expos rookie team there and Vermont kept the Expo name for an additional year. It's also only about an hour from Montreal. A lot of stuff ended up in that area. I have been able to find almost anything when I have been through there. Anything but a Vermont Expos logo baseball which is the one thing I kept stopping to look for.

You can get Montreal Expos games on audio tape from DANRICK ENTERPRISES by calling 1-877-930-0800 or going on ebay and looking for seller Palmer999. he has a number of 1969 Expos games on audio tape.

I only looked in a few stores while I was up there, but I didn't see any. One of the store owners suggested hitting some area flea markets as he said quite a few are around but that the memorbilia guys aren't interested in them unless they are autographed by someone significant.

Not to turn this into a post what you're looking for thread, but does anyone know where I can find a brand new XXL Blue Batting Practice jersey? I don't mean the powder blue they wore in the '80s but the royal blue they wore in the '90s/'00s. I would love to get one and finally own a Andres Gallaraga jersey. He was always my favorite Expo.

I always feel slightly sad whenever I visit forums like this or search EBay for merchandise. I still remember being at a Jays/Expos game in Toronto in 2002, where there was a back and forth chant in the outfield seats. The Let's Go Expos/Let's Go Blue Jays chant carried on for three or four innings straight. It was the first time I've ever been at a sporting event where the visitors had more fans in attendance than the home team did. If only those 20,000 or so fans (and I am guilty of this too but in my defense I didn't have a car when I lived in Toronto) drove up the 401 to support the Expos more often, we may not even be talking about this.

Has anyone ever seen any photos, cards or anything with Hensley Meulens in an Expos uniform during his brief stint with the team in 1997? I've actually found him in a Braves uniform in a couple of 8x10s even though he was only with THEM during spring training, but I haven't seen anything of Bam Bam as an Expo.
