Finally, there is a book on the life of Horace Stoneham. It is authored by Steve Treder and is captioned "Forty Years a Giant The Life of Horace Stoneham." I recently heard a podcast with Mr. Treder promoting the book. The interview was intriguing to me, so I ordered it. It was published in June 2021 and is available on Amazon.

Did you read it? I recall as a child in the 1970s Stoneham expressed deep regret at having moved out west. Curious what the book says. Also, in the late 70's there was speculation that the Giants were looking to move and New Jersey might be a landing spot. That would have made for an amazing, incredible rivalry with the Mets.
