Yes, from Mandrake to the REAL Mandrake, happy birthday. Years ago, I listened to a Bob Murphy interview with Monte Irvin and Monte stated that they easily beat the Yanks in '51 if Mandrake did not break his ankle. The players who replaced him in the lineup had a dreadful avg with men on base.
