Anyone remember Jack Maguire? 1950-51 Giants

Does anyone have information on Jack Maguire. He played for the NY Giants the year of 1950 and part of 1951. I found online that he died in Kerrville, Texas in 2001, but would like to find out what he did in the years following his short lived baseball career. Thank you!

I believe Jack was the last Giant before Willie Mays to wear # 24.

Willie joined the Jints on May 25, 1951; Jack left them on May 28. For those three days, Willie wore #14.
