    Outfielder Neil Chrisley played for the Senators in 1957 and 1958, hitting .204 in 131 games.

    Neil Chrisley, 82, of Myrtle Green Dr., died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at his home.

    Mr. Chrisley was born in Calhoun Falls, son of the late Carnell and Nellie Chrisley. He was a professional Major League baseball player with the Detriot Tigers and an avid golfer and attended Newberry College on a basketball scholarship.

    Lou Sleater pitched for the Senators in 1952, posting a 4-2 record and 3.63 ERA in 14 games (nine starts).

    Louis Mortimer Sleater, a standout high school athlete who ended his seven-year major league pitching career with the Baltimore Orioles and was later a steel salesman, died of lung disease Monday at his Timonium home. He was 86.
